to the BLACK MOUNTAINS LIONS CLUB No. 19960

Welcome to our Club website.

The Black Mountains Lions are part of the Lions Clubs International (LCI) Association of Clubs, which enables us to help those in need, may it be a small need or a major catastrophe, a local need or an international need.

We are part of an organisation spanning 206 countries and have 1.35 million men and women members, from all walks of life, all of whom endeavour to help those less fortunate than themselves.

It is my pleasure and honour to have been elected to the position of Club President of the Black Mountains Lions Club for the Lionistic year that runs from 1st July 2010 to 30th June 2011.

I started my career in Lionism on the 10th March 1994 and have found being a member both rewarding and most enjoyable. During this time I have held various positions, both within the Club, including that of Club President way back in 1995 and in our national organisation having been a District Governor for the Lionistic year of 2007/2008.

Our club has been in existence for 38 years and has a healthy membership of both males and females of all ages. We hold monthly meetings and welcome anyone wishing to discover more about our members and their work in our community.

PLEASE COME ALONG AND MEET US.

The Black Mountains Lions Club is located on the Welsh/English border, close to the Black Mountains and based in Hay on Wye, The Historic Town of Books.
